This is the true story of Havaianas

In 1964, Havianas was found in every household in Brazil, it was rare that it did not have a pair of flip flops. They were sold directly from a fleet of vans and the peasants eagerly awaited the arrival of the travelers.

In 1966 Havaianas registered the patent for these rubber sandals, the brand's greatest invention, a sole with two parallel strips, each one formed by small interlaced borders.

Over the years, new colors were introduced to the collections since at first they were only made in two colors which were blue and white.

Already in the 90s, patterned models were incorporated into the collections, thus expanding the offer.

At the end of the 90s the brand spread throughout the world, today we can find Havianas in more than 60 countries.

In 2006 the Slim model was launched on the market, which, as its name suggests, has the finest and most delicate strips. It was immediately a sales success.

In order to meet the needs of countries that do not have a tropical climate, in 2015 the Soul collection goes on sale, consisting of casual style sneakers and espadrilles that can be used throughout the year.
